EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY

Next weekend the American Academy of Religion (AAR) will be holding its annual meeting. As the premier professional organization for the study of religion, the AAR's annual meeting will bring together thousands of scholars from across the world to meet and share their research. Many of the scholars we've read including Julie Byrne and others will be in attendance. And this year it's in Chicago at McCormick Place.

So I'm offering FIVE extra credit points (that's fully 5% on your final grade) to anyone who attends a session at the AAR related to American Catholic history and writes a two page report about it.

Information about the annual meeting is here, and you can search the meeting's online program here. You'll also figure out how to navigate McCormick Place. But I hope you attend. And earn some credit!
